I would like to personally invite you to a special screening of the movie, "Intent to Destroy." This film explores the violent history of the Armenian Genocide and Turkish suppression.

"Intent to Destroy" is a documentary that captures some of the challenges of producing a historically meaningful, big-budget feature film called "The Promise," starring Oscar Isaac.  "The Promise" is a sweeping World War I romantic drama set during the 1915 Armenian Genocide, which killed1.5 million people. Viewers are taken to incredible locations in Spain, Malta, and Portugal, to get a full behind-the-scenes experience, as this film explores the reality and complexities of the actual Genocide and its subsequent denial.

Thursday, March 8
Program: 7:15 - 7:30 p.m.
Movie: 7:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Monarch Hall
5800 Fulton Ave.
Valley Glen, CA  91401

This special screening of “Intent to Destroy” is hosted by Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian, in partnership with Los Angeles Valley College and the Armenian Assembly of America.
