REAL ID Driver's license

Join me and the California DMV for a REAL ID Workshop.

Beginning October 1, 2020, you must present a federal compliant REAL ID driver license or identification card to pass through airport security checkpoints. The CA DMV will be present to talk about the new federal requirements as well as answer any questions you may have about getting a REAL ID.

Admission is free and open to the community.

Creating Jobs in the Entertainment Industry

Please join my office at a free job workshop for people who are interested in working for the Entertainment Industry. In 2014, the legislature passed AB 1839, The California Film & Television Job Retention and Promotion Act, to create more middle-class jobs throughout the state.

Come spend an evening with the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), the union behind entertainment workers. Stop by and learn from individuals who are:

  • Electrical lighting technicians
  • Production sound & video engineers
  • Script supervisors & production specialists
  • Costume designers

This event is free and open to the community.
