Assemblymember Nazarian Hosts Driver’s License Workshop for Newly Enacted AB 60
(Van Nuys, CA) – California State Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian (D-Sherman Oaks) hosted a driver’s license event in Van Nuys in partnership with the Department of Motor Vehicles, the Los Angeles Police Department and the California Highway Patrol. The purpose of the workshop was to get the word out about Assemblymember Nazarian’s newly enacted legislation, Assembly Bill 60. AB 60 allows the DMV to issue driver’s licenses to undocumented residents of California. With the enactment of AB 60, our roads will become safer, because license holders will have to learn the driving laws of California and pass a driving test. It will also allow those new license holders to acquire auto insurance. Watch this Assembly Access Video to learn more.
