We’ve also included below an overview and links for some of the most important federal, state, and local resources for small businesses. Information about these and other COVID-19 resources are also available on our website.
Federal Resources
- The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest loans for small businesses and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19.
- The Paycheck Protection Program provides forgivable loans to small businesses that continue to pay their employees during the COVID-19 crisis.
- Payroll Tax Credits are available for certain small and medium-sized businesses impacted by COVID-19.
State Resources
- Small Business Relief Payment Plans allow certain small businesses to defer up to $50,000 of sales and use tax liability for 12 months without incurring any penalties or interest.
- The California Small Business Disaster Relief Loan Guarantee Program provides loans for small businesses that may not qualify for federal assistance.
Local Resources
- Los Angeles City Small Business Emergency Microloan Program provides loans of up to $20,000 for small businesses impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
- Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation is providing grants of up to $10,000 and other assistance to small businesses and nonprofits impacted by COVID-19.
