Our Third Annual Valley Day of Service is less than one week away!
We're partnering with dozens of community groups and nonprofits to work on service projects across the San Fernando Valley. Projects include cleaning our neighborhoods, packing outreach kits for our unhoused neighbors, supporting domestic violence survivors, donating blood, and so much more. These projects are filling up fast, so be sure to sign up ASAP!

As part of our Third Annual Valley Day of Service, we’re partnering with Hope the Mission and the LA Rams to prepare 20,000 servings of what will be the world’s largest lasagna — all to help feed unhoused neighbors across Los Angeles.
Volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and cooking abilities are welcome to join us for what should be a fun and memorable day. We are less than two weeks away, so please be sure to register ASAP.

It is my pleasure to invite you to our Third Annual Valley Day of Service on Sunday, April 14!
We’re partnering with dozens of community groups and nonprofits to work on service projects across the San Fernando Valley. Projects include cleaning our neighborhoods, packing outreach kits for our unhoused neighbors, supporting domestic violence survivors, donating blood, and so much more!
All volunteers should meet at Pierce College at 9:30 a.m. for breakfast, directions, and some positive energy!
Our office will be co-hosting a Tacos and Tax Preparation event with the Office of State Senator Caroline Menjivar on Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event will give community members the chance to file their taxes with IRS-certified tax preparers and enjoy delicious tacos – all for free! – and to learn about other constituent services offered by the State Legislature.
The event is free and open to all who make an appointment (no walk-ins) and meet the following eligibility requirements:
