Assembly Budget Chair Jesse Gabriel Comments on Proposed Funding for Southern California Wildfire Response and Recovery

SACRAMENTO, CA — Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel (D-Encino), Chair of the Assembly Budget Committee, released the following statement regarding proposed state funding for wildfire response and recovery in Southern California:

“We appreciate the Governor's commitment to providing funding, resources, and support to help rebuild our Southern California communities. This is deeply personal for our LA members and the communities we represent. The Assembly looks forward to working closely with our state, federal, and local partners to ensure that we are supporting impacted communities every step of the way.
